Integrating dance and movement in the mathematics classroom
Heather Francis is a dance teaching artist and nationally-recognized math educator whose dance-integrated 8th grade math curriculum took first place in the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt creative Classroom Contest. Heather continues to experiment with and train teachers in dance and math integration as a presenter, instructional designer and researcher for the BYU ARTS Partnership.
